Ride to Anjarle is one of the memorable rides because of the beach which is less crowded and clean. We as in Bajaj Avenger Club, Pune (BAC, Pune) even got our motorbikes on the beach. We started ride on 31st October, Saturday early morning 6 AM. There were to possible roads to Anjarle, via Tamhini – Mangaon and via Bhor – Khed. Both the roads are not in very good, though among them we preferred Bhor – Khed.
Road from Bhor – Mahad bypass was in very bad condition. We were literally like feeling like “Oh.. god, why did we choose this road”. But after Mahad bypass (via khed – dapoli) road was superb till Anjarle. We had stayed over night at Anjarle, had quite fun on the beach that night. It was all like beach party. Next we had decided to return back via Mahabaleshwar and have the same Mapro sandwich. Road via Mahabaleshwar was a better choice.
Two things I can make out of this Anjarle ride. Everyone must go Anjarle once and please go via Mahabaleshwar.
